These General Conditions are intended to regulate the conditions of use of the website "www.uemc.es" (hereinafter "the website"), whose owner is Universidad Europea Mi-guel de Cervantes, S.A. (hereinafter, "UEMC"), with address at Padre Julio Chevalier St, no.2, 47012 Valladolid SPAIN, registered in the Valladolid Company Register, Volume: 1057, Book: 0, Folio: 13, Sheet: VA-8876, Inscrip.: 29, Date: 2/03/2015, CIF: A-47402821, with which you can contact through info@uemc.es

The UEMC was created by Law 8/2002, of June 18th, which recognizes as a Private Uni-versity the "Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes", based in Valladolid (BOE 5/07/2002), governed by Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21st, of universities, as amended by Organic Law 4/2007, April 12th (BOE 13/04/2007), Law 3/2003, of March 28th, on Universities of Castile and León, as amended by Law 12/2010, of October 28 (BOCyL 10/11/2010) and by the rules that would develop them, as well as by their own law of creation and by their own rules of organization and operation, approved by Agreement 101/2010 of October 28th by the Junta de Castilla y León (BOCyL 03/11/2010).

1. Conditions of access.

The purpose of this website is to provide information about UEMC and its activity, in particular to inform about the university educational offer and other courses, seminars, activities and events organized by UEMC. Its use implies full acceptance by the User of these conditions, so if you do not agree with the content of them you must refrain from making use of the website as well as the services offered on it. UEMC reserves the right to make the modifications it deems appropriate, being able to modify, delete and in-clude, unilaterally and without prior notice, new content and / or services, as well as the way in which they are presented and located and the website’s conditions of use.

The User accepts that the website access and use, as well as the contents included therein takes place freely and consciously, under their sole responsibility, and conse-quently undertakes to:

Do not use the website for activities contrary to law, morality or public order and, in general, to make lawful and honest use in accordance with these General Conditions, as well as to refrain from performing any act that could damage, disable, overload or dete-riorate the website and / or prevent the normal use and use by other Users.

Do not manipulate or alter any website content without the express written consent of its owner. Any alteration, modification or manipulation without the consent of its own-er, exempts its owner from any responsibility.

Do not reproduce, copy, distribute, publicly communicate, transform or modify the con-tents, unless you have the mandatory authorization of the owner of the corresponding rights or this is legally permitted; as well as deleting, circumventing or manipulating copyright and other data identifying the rights of UEMC or its owners incorporated into the contents, as well as technical protection devices, or any information mechanisms that may contain the information reviewed content.

Do not introduce or disseminate programs (viruses or any type of software of a harmful nature) on the web that may cause damage to it.

UEMC does not guarantee the availability and continuity of the website nor is it respon-sible for any damages that may occur, nor for technical defects, including viruses or other affective elements, whatever the nature, arising from the use of the information and the materials contained on the website.

2. Use of cookies.

In order to provide a better service, UEMC may store on the User's computer small in-formation files called cookies, used for the proper functioning of some of the services offered, as well as to perform usage statistics, diagnose problems on the web, and for the administration of some of the services offered. 3. Responsibilities.

The User shall be liable for damages of any kind that UEMC or any third party may suf-fer as a result of the breach of any of the obligations to which it is subject by these Gen-eral Conditions.

UEMC assumes no responsibility or control over any hyperlinks contained on the web-site to content external to it; However, it will remove links that include illegal content as soon as it can acknowledge it.

UEMC also informs that the personal academic information obtained through the appli-cation is for informational purposes only, lacking official validity.

4. Intellectual and Industrial Property.

The User acknowledges that all the website contents and, in particular, all information and materials, the structure, selection, management and provision of its contents, pro-grams and development of applications used in connection with them, are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights owned by the owner of the website or, where applicable, third parties.

In no case will access to them or their use by the User imply any kind of waiver, trans-mission or transfer in whole or in part of such rights, nor confer any right of use, altera-tion, exploitation, reproduction, distribution or public communication on such content without the prior and express authorization specifically granted for this purpose by UEMC or the third party owner of the rights affected.

UEMC owns the elements that make up the graphic design of its website, menus, navi-gation buttons, code, texts, images, textures, graphics and any other content of the website or, in other cases, it has the corresponding authorization for the use of such elements.

All trademarks, trade names or distinctive signs displayed on this page are the property of UEMC and/or third parties. It is prohibited to use or download them permanently, copy them or distribute them by any means without the mandatory consent of their owner.

In the event that any User or a third party considers that any of the contents has been introduced on the website with violation of its Intellectual or Industrial Property rights, it must send a notification to UEMC identifying itself and the owner of the intellectual or industrial property rights allegedly infringed, providing title or accreditation of the representation of the aforementioned rights.

6. Confidentiality.

Any information that either party communicates or provides to the other or to which any of them have access will be considered confidential and may not be disclosed, dis-played, reproduced, copied, discussed with third parties, or used by either party for purposes other than those that motivated their communication.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction.

These General Conditions shall be governed by the provisions of Spanish law. For any issues that may arise between the parties regarding the interpretation and enforcement of this document, both parties agree hereby expressly waiving any other venue to which they might be entitled, and submit their arbitration to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Valladolid.
